I've been using this program for years. The latest version (4.1) hangs at "Clearing system caches" when used in the scheduled Pilot mode. I've tried reinstalling, trashing pref's, etc. I've sent three messages to their support over three weeks and haven't gotten a single response. Very disappointed. I'll be looking into other, similar programs.
Set screen saver to NEVER, and turn off Time Machine.
Programs that will not be upgraded: Some device drivers: check with your device manufacturers. The free software CUPS drivers may work for some printers. Gutenprint was marked as incompatible.

You can install High Sierra via the macOS Installer, by creating a bootable installer, from within macOS Recovery, and via a NetInstall image created by System Image Utility (available with macOS Server).
